KRRC (Militia) Cap Badge

A scarce, King's crown, blackened brass cap badge for a militia battalion of The King's Royal Rifle Corps with a slider fastening and a red felt background (note the South Africa honour). Worn c1905-08.

Note: A hole has been drilled into the top of the slider, perhaps to allow the badge to also be sewn on?
