E Lancs Cap Badge

A bi-metal cap badge for The East Lancashire Regiment with two lug fastenings (east and west) and 'sweathole' construction. The reverse bears a plaque for manufacturer J.R. Gaunt London. KK638.

Note: I understand this pattern, with these features, has been attributed to a WW1 service/pals battalion of Kitchener's Army.
