A very nice pair of silver and gilt, mess kit, collar badges for an officer of The Royal Marines, each with two lug fastenings (east and west). Worn circa 1923-1950s. Rawlinson 677.
Each of these collar badges has a black felt backing secured by a brass plate. The rear of each plate is stamped 'S' (to indicate silver) and marked for manufacturer J.R. Gaunt London.
