Hallmarked KRRC Officer's CBP

A rare, hallmarked silver, cross-belt plate for an officer of The King's Royal Rifle Corps with four screw fastenings to the rear (three bolts intact). Hallmarks for J&Co (Jennens), sterling silver, Birmingham and (I believe) 1901 just below the Celer Et Audax motto. As Parkyn 430.

Note: The upper arm of the cross appears to have been fairly crudely re-attached to the circlet, which has left some damage. Perhaps there has been a repair to the crown/Celer Et Audax scroll too?
