1st Lincolnshire RV Officer's Shako Plate

A rare, silver-plated, shako plate for an officer of The 1st Lincolnshire Rifle Volunteers with two screw fastenings (east and west). Worn c1860.

Note: I believe this plate was also worn by other rifle volunteer units, such as the 1st AB Fifeshire RVC.
