A scarce, white metal, helmet plate for a volunteer/militia battalion of The Bedfordshire Regiment with three lug fastenings (north, east and west). Worn c1902-08. As KK358/375.

Please note: This is a conversion from a Victorian plate - sometimes done by volunteer/militia units who had to pay for their own uniforms/insignia.
