RA (Militia) Officer's WBC

A scarce, (somewhat faded) gilt, waist-belt clasp for an officer of The Royal Artillery (Militia) with its 'female' loop still intact (held in place with Blu-Tac!).

I understand this is an undress pattern WBC, worn c1855-92.
