OBC Buttonhole Badge

A scarce, brass, buttonhole badge for The Old Boy's Corps (part of the WW1 Volunteer Training Corps). The reverse is marked for manufacturer H.E. Sale Ltd B'ham (?).

Note: Ray Westlake's book 'A Guide To The Volunteer Training Corps 1914-18' states there were two different circular gilt lapel badges, each with the motto Pro Patria (p73). If this badge was ever gilt it looks to have been worn down to brass.
