Birmingham Battalion Mufti Badge

A brass and enamel mufti badge for the 14th-16th (1st-3rd Birmingham) battalions of The Royal Warwickshire Regiment with a buttonhole fastening. The reverse is marked for manufacturer Dingley B'ham (twice). Minor damage to the enamel.

Note: These badges were worn by the three 'Birmingham Pals' battalions of Kitchener's Army before the issue of their distinctive cap badges.
