KRRC (Militia) Cap Badge

A scarce, King's crown, brass cap badge for a militia battalion of The King's Royal Rifle Corps with a slider fastening (note the South Africa honour). Worn c1905-08.

Note: These badges are usually found in blackened brass. This badge may have been blackened previously but there is little evidence of any residue.
