2nd VB Glosters HP

A scarce, blackened brass, helmet plate for the 2nd volunteer battalion of The Gloucestershire Regiment with three lug fastenings (north, east and west). HQ at Gloucester. Brinson G61.

Note: Brinson dates this plate to circa 1881-1908 (despite the Victorian crown). He notes no example with a King's crown has been discovered.
