Inniskilling Fusiliers Collar Badges

A scarce, bi-metal, pair of collar badges for an officer of The Inniskilling Fusiliers, each with two lug fastenings (east and west). Some verdigris. Churchill 738/739.

Note: Churchill shows these collars (worn horizontally, with the flags not facing) and states: "with metal grenades substituted for embroidery, for wear on the scarlet frock".

Churchill does not state the finish on these 'metal' collar badges. I would assume they should be silver and gilt with these examples faded to brass.
