21st OCB Cap Badge

A scarce, white metal, cap badge for The 21st Officer Cadet Battalion (Crookham, Aldershot, Hampshire) with a slider fastening. Rawlings 1601g or Woods 16.8.

Note: Terence Woods' book, on The Military Insignia of Hampshire and The Isle of Wight, says the OCBs were introduced in 1916 with the 20th and 21st based at Crookham in WW1.
