6/OCB Shoulder Title

A scarce, two-piece, brass shoulder title for the 6th Officer Cadet Battalion with two lug fastenings on each piece (north and south on the 6, east and west on the OCB part). The green cloth backing remains intact. Westlake 1625 or Rawlings 1599.

Note: Westlake states this unit was formed at Oxford University in 1916 and was separate from the officer training corps and other training units. Rawlings states this unit was raised specifically at Balliol College, Oxford.
