Hants Regt Post-1881 Glengarry Badge

A Victorian, brass, glengarry badge for The Hampshire Regiment with two lug fastenings (east and west). Woods 1.50.

Note: This badge measures approximately 64mm tall x 54mm wide. Terence Woods, in his book on The Military Insignia of Hampshire and The Isle of Wight, says this was worn by the 1st battalion (circa 1881-1902) while the 2nd battalion wore a slightly larger pattern (67mm x 58mm).
