Early East Surrey Regt Puggaree Badge

A rare, early-pattern, brass puggaree badge for The East Surrey Regiment with a pin fastening.

Gaylor (plate 18) shows the later version with the Victorian crown, which he states was worn by the 1st battalion c1891-93.
