Herts Regt Beret Badge

A brass beret badge for The Hertfordshire Regiment with a slider fastening. Churchill 2004.

Note: Colin Churchill, in his book on the History of the British Army Infantry Collar Badge, states: "The gilding metal collar badge was also worn as a beret badge, sometimes fitted with a slider".
