A white metal cap badge for the 3rd volunteer battalion of The Hampshire Regiment with two (replacement) lug fastenings (east and west). HQ at Portsmouth. Woods 8.34.

Note: Terence Woods, in his book on The Military Insignia of Hampshire and The Isle of Wight, dates this badge to circa 1902-08.
