RA (Vols) Officer's Helmet Plate

A silver-plated helmet plate for The Royal Artillery (Volunteers) with three lug fastenings (north, east and west). Worn circa 1902-08. The reverse bears a manufacturers plaque for Hobson & Sons. As KK829A or Litchfield & Westlake 17.
