1st VB Border HP

A scarce, white metal, helmet plate for the 1st volunteer battalion of The Border Regiment with three lug fastenings (north, east and west). HQ at Carlisle.

Note: This plate has the usual 'blade' fastenings to hold the red felt centre in place, although they are a little 'chewed'/damaged.
