A rare, white metal, helmet plate for the 5th volunteer battalion of The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) with three lug fastenings (north, east and west). HQ at Airdrie. As KK1570 or Bloomer 2, 98.

Note: Bloomer dates this plate to 1887-97.
