Early King's Regt Collar Badges

A (non-matching) pair of bi-metal collar badges for The King's Regiment, Liverpool), each with two lug fastenings (east and west). As Churchill 221/223.

Note: Churchill suggests this pattern of collar came into use around 1896. He states: "There are numerous and considerable variations..."

While these collars superficially appear to be a close match, one has an apostrophe on the title scroll while the other does not.
