Victorian 5L Czapka Płatę

A rare, brass, lance-cap plate for The 5th Royal Irish Lancers. As KK718 or Rowe & Carman 66.

Note: Rowe & Carman describe this as 'pattern B', the second of six plates (including four Victorian versions), without any battle honours. Four honours were awarded in 1882.

Unfortunately, the two screw fastenings are missing.
