2VB DCLI Collar Badges

A pair of white metal collar badges for the 2nd volunteer battalion of The Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry, each with two lug fastenings (north and south). Churchill 911/912.

Note: Churchill states this battalion wore the badge on the right as a field-service cap badge from c1895-1908 and he adds these badges were believed to have been worn as collar badges in South Africa 1899-1902.
