SLI Glengarry Badge

A two-piece, brass, glengarry badge for The Somersetshire Light Infantry with its backing plate intact. There are two staple-style loop fastenings on the crown (north and south) and all four intact on the helmet plate centre. KK288/289/302.

Note: Kipling & King states the title on the circlet changed to read just Somerset in 1912.
