RNF (Vols) FS Cap Badge

A scarce, white metal, field-service cap badge for the 2nd/3rd volunteer battalions of The Royal Northumberland Fusiliers with two (replacement) lug fastenings (north and south). Wood 200 in the new edition (198 in the first edition).

Note: Colonel Denis Wood's book on The Fifth Fusiliers and its Badges, gives this badge's measurements as 38mm tall by 25mm wide and dates it to 1895-1902.
