Glosters FS Cap Badge

A scarce, white metal, field-service cap badge for The Gloucestershire Regiment with two lug fastenings (east and west). Brinson C14.

Note: Brinson states this badge was worn by the 1st battalion in Malta by ORs’ {other ranks, sic} on the dark blue Austrian pattern FS cap. He dates it to circa 1895-1900.
