Anodised Dorsetshire Regt Cap Badge

A very rare, anodised aluminium, cap badge for The Dorsetshire Regiment with a slider fastening (marked J.R. Gaunt London). As KK651 or Marsh AAD09.

Note: Chris Marsh, in his book on Anodised Aluminium: The 'No Bull' Cap Badge of The British Army, dates this badge to the early 1950s (when the title scroll changed to read just Dorset).
