1st Suffolk RV Officer's PBP
A rare, silver-plated, pouch-belt plate for an officer of The 1st Suffolk Rifle Volunteers with three screw fastenings (north, east and west) and its nuts and washers intact.
Note: The 1st Suffolk Rifle Volunteers was based in Woodbridge and renamed 1st Volunteer Battalion in 1888. It is curious as to why a plate with the King's crown exists, although it does not look as though the crown is a later addition/adjustment.
