A brass, 'strap pattern', glengarry badge for The Northumberland Fusiliers with two lug fastenings (north and south). KK961.

Note: Colonel Denis Wood's book on The Fifth Fusiliers and its Badge (reference 125 in the second edition or 123 in the first edition) dates this badge to circa 1881-1893.

This badge has a lovely sheen to it - almost a gilded quality?
