Cadets/Y/Sussex Shoulder Title

A scarce, brass, shoulder title for cadets of The Sussex Yeomanry with four lug fastenings and its backing plate intact. Westlake 330.

Westlake states: "The 1st Cadet Regiment, Sussex Yeomanry was recognised in 1914 as the Brighton Brigade, Sussex Cadets, being redesignated in 1916.

The regiment consisted of three battalions, the 1st and 3rd being disbanded in 1920 with the 2nd following in 1921."
