Isle of Wight RV Cap Badge

A rare, brass/blackened brass, cap/collar badge for The Isle of Wight Rifle Volunteers with two lug fastenings (east and west). Woods 6.5.

Note: Woods states these badges were worn on the collar. He adds: "It is suggested that it was also used as a cap badge between 1885 and 1901."
