1st VB Dorset Cap Badge

A blackened brass cap badge for the 1st volunteer battalion of The Dorsetshire Regiment with two lug fastenings (east and west) and an attractive red felt backing. Approximately 30mm wide x 37mm high. HQ at Dorchester. Churchill 1103.

Note: Churchill states this unit wore the same collar badges as the regular units, although the undress hat badges are sometimes mistaken for collar badges.
