11th Foot Collar Badge

A scarce, brass, collar badge for The 11th Foot, with two lug fastenings (east and west). Churchill 334.

Note: Colin Churchill's book on the History of The British Army Infantry Collar Badge suggests these collars were worn circa 1878-81 only.

Unfortunately, this collar badge is pretty well polished.
