Early Worcestershire HP

A rare, first pattern, brass helmet plate for The Worcestershire Regiment with two staple-style loop fastenings on the backplate. KK287/317.

Note: The four staple-style loop fastenings on the centre have been removed and the centre is held in place with Blu-Tack. There is also some slight damage where the crown attaches to the star.

Kipling & King states this version was in use circa 1881-85.
