Victorian Derby Shoulder Title

A brass shoulder title for an officer of The Sherwood Foresters (Derbyshire Regiment) with two hexagonal lug fastenings (east and west). Westlake 1198.

Note: Ray Westlake, in his book on Collecting Metal Shoulder Titles, states this title was worn by officers.

He notes The Sherwood Foresters was redesigned as The Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire Regiment in 1902 when the title changed.
