AOD Officer's Cap Badge

A rare, gilt, cap badge for an officer of The Army Ordnance Department with two long lug fastenings (east and west). The reverse is marked J&Co for manufacturer Jennens.

Note: The Army Ordnance Department existed, for officer's only, from 1896 to 1918.
