16/W. York Shoulder Title

A scarce brass shoulder title for the 16th battalion of The West Yorkshire Regiment with two lug fastenings (east and west). Westlake 888.

Note: Westlake states this battalion was raised in 1914 as the 1st Bradford (service) battalion (Bradford Pals) and disbanded in 1918. This short-lived unit was part of Kitchener's Army.
