KOSB Officer's HM Glengarry Badge

A nice, silver, glengarry badge for an officer of The King's Own Scottish Borderers with two solid lug fastenings (east and west). As KK1988.

Note: The reverse bears hallmarks for JRG&S (manufacturer J.R. Gaunt & Sons), Sheffield, sterling silver and 1978. There is also the number 74 to the rear - perhaps one of a limited run of badges?
