2VB E Surrey Glengarry Badge

A scarce, blackened brass, glengarry badge for the 2nd volunteer battalion of The East Surrey Regiment with three lug fastenings (north, east and west). HQ at Wimbledon.

Note: The https://www.queensroyalsurreys.org.uk/regimental-badgtes/es/badges-east-surreys-3.html website suggests these badges were initially in blackened brass (after the 3rd Surrey Rifle Volunteers became the 2nd VB East Surrey Regiment in 1887) and later in white metal.
