1st VB Middlesex Regt Collar Badge

A scarce, white metal, collar badge for the 1st volunteer battalion of The Middlesex Regiment with two lug fastenings (east and west) and a maroon felt backing (somewhat threadbare). HQ at Hornsey. Churchill 1457.

Note: Colin Churchill, in his book on the History of The British Army Infantry Collar Badge, states this collar badge was approved for wear in 1898.
