10th Foot Collar Badge

A scarce, brass, collar badge for The 10th Foot (North Lincoln, later 1st battalion of The Lincolnshire Regiment) with two lug fastenings (east and west). Churchill 310.

Note: Colin Churchill, in his book on the History of The British Army Infantry Collar Badge, states a similar collar was also worn by The 24th Foot (2nd Warwickshire), later the 1st battalion of The South Wales Borderers - reference 657.
