2VB R Sussex Officer's HP

A rare, silver-plated and enamel, helmet plate for an officer of the 2nd volunteer battalion of The Royal Sussex Regiment with three lug fastenings (north, east and west). HQ at Worthing.

Note: Unfortunately, there has been some damage to the enamel and the red velvet centre is somewhat faded.
