Kensington VTC Shoulder Title

A rare, brass/bronzed, shoulder title for The West London Volunteer Regiment (Kensington) with two lug fastenings (east and west). The reverse is marked for manufacturer J.R. Gaunt London.

Note: This title is mentioned in Ray Westlake's book on Collecting Metal Shoulder Titles (Supplement No. 1, p176, in my second edition) but not illustrated.

This unit was part of the WW1 Volunteer Training Corps (VTC) movement.
