5/Hants Shoulder Title

A brass shoulder title for the 5th (territorial) battalion of The Hampshire Regiment with two lug fastenings (east and west). Westlake 1105.

Note: Ray Westlake, in his book on Collecting Metal Shoulder Titles, states: "No satisfactory answer has been found regarding territorial shoulder titles that were made without the 'T'. Those marked above (including 1105) have not had the 'T' removed or broken off. This type of title has been noted in photos being worn on tunics both with a separate 'T' and without and on greatcoats without the 'T'."
