1/C/Queens Shoulder Title

A brass shoulder title for the 1st cadet battalion of The Queen's (Royal West Surrey Regiment) with three hexagonal lug fastenings (north, east and west). Westlake 739.

Note: Ray Westlake, in his book on Collecting Metal Shoulder Titles, states: "The 1st Cadet Bn was recognised in 1911 but was transferred to The London Regiment by the end of the same year.

"A new 1st C.B. was added in 1915. Both battalions were affiliated to the 4th Bn (T.F.) and had their HQ in Southwark."
