QOH NCO's Arm Badge

A chrome arm badge for a non-commissioned officer of The Queen's Own Hussars with three of four pin fastenings intact (the south pin is missing). Two clutches remain in place. Linaker & Dine 21.1A/B.

Note: David Linaker & Gordon Dine, in their book on Cavalry Warrant Officers' And Non-Commissioned Officers' Arm Badges, say a chrome badge was introduced in the late 1960s with a silver version around 1984.

They state the chromed arm badge is secured by three blades, which are folded over while the later silver version had four pins and clutch plates.

This badge appears to be somewhere between the two - chromed but with the pin/clutch plate fastenings.
