RIR FS Cap Badge

A Victorian, brass, field-service cap badge for The Royal Irish Rifles with two lug fastenings (north and south).

Note: These badges are usually found in blackened brass, although there is little evidence of blacking on this example. Also worn as a collar badge. Churchill 1749.
