39th Foot Officer's Quilted Shako Plate

A rare and attractive, gilt, quilted pattern shako plate for an officer of The 39th Foot (later 1st battalion of The Dorsetshire Regiment) with two lug fastenings (east and west). Worn circa 1861-69. KK138.
