A scarce, brass, shoulder title for the 12th (Sheffield) battalion of The York & Lancaster Regiment with two lug fastenings (east and west). Westlake 1342.

Note: This 'pals/service' battalion, part of Kitchener's Army, was formed in 1914 and disbanded in 1918.
